What is the requirement to drive in Hawaii using my valid foreign license?
Foreign countries that ratified the Convention on Road Traffic, United Nations, Geneva 1949 or were granted reciprocity by the Statewide Driver's License Reciprocity Committee may use a valid foreign license to drive in Hawaii one year upon entry to the United States. You will need your valid passport to show your admission date into the United States when driving with your foreign license and an International Driving Permit (IDP).
